Equity Advisory Group
Avista’s Equity Advisory Group (EAG) considers how everyone is impacted and benefits from our transition to cleaner energy. The EAG’s work focuses on Washington communities that, due to socioeconomic and other factors, have historically been most vulnerable to pollution and climate change.
Are you interested in joining the EAG? We welcome people from all backgrounds and experiences to join us. We especially encourage participation from people who identify as:
- Older adults
- Economically disadvantaged
- Living with disability
- Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC)
- Interested in environmental justice
- Associated with public health
- Residing on tribal land
- Living in affordable housing
- Members of marginalized communities or populations
- Youth and students
