Joint Use
The Avista Joint Use team is responsible for the permitting and management of telecommunication attachments on approximately 214,000 Avista poles and partners with over 170 municipalities, internet service providers, wireless carriers, school districts, etc. The term “Joint Use” refers to the shared use of Avista utility infrastructure with these partners.
We are committed to ensuring the safety of the public and utility workers, protecting customers, complying with state and federal regulations, and aiding in the rapid deployment of broadband throughout our service territory.
To apply for and construct pole attachments on Avista structures a Pole License Agreement must be in place. The links below provide further information about our Joint Use program for existing and prospective licensees.
