Accordion/Accordion Item
This component adds an Accordion placeholder to a page for Accordion Items that can contain Content Components.
You can see an example Accordion on the sample page.
Add a new Accordion and Accordion Item using the Experience Editor
Open the page in the Experience Editor. Click on the Component button. Click the (+Add here) button where you want to place the rendering, and the Select a Rendering window will open.
Click on the Accordion component inside the renderings box, then click the Select button to choose it. An Accordion Placeholder will be added to the page.
Click inside the placeholder, then click the (+Add here) button, and the Select a Rendering window will open.
Click on the Accordion Item component inside the renderings box, then click the Select button to choose it. A window will open that allows you to Select the Associated Content for the Accordion Item.
Select Create New Content from the options on the left, and then give your Accordion Item a unique name in the Name field. Click OK, and your new Accordion will be added to the page and the subcontent folder for this page. Save the page to preserve your changes.
Adding Content to your Accordion Item in the Experience Editor
Click on the Accordion Content placeholder.
Click inside the placeholder, then click the (+Add here) button, and the Select a Rendering window will open.
Click on the Component you would like to add inside the renderings box, then click the Select button to choose it. A window will open that allows you to Select the Associated Content for the Accordion Item content. Follow the instructions for Content Component to learn how to add and edit them to the Accordion Content placeholder.
Editing your Accordion Item in the Content Editor
Switch back to the Content Editor, and locate your Accordion inside the subcontent folder for your page. You may need to collapse and expand your folder to refresh it.
Click on the Accordion item, and then make your changes in the Content Editor fields on the right. Be sure to save your changes.
