Explore Energy Efficiency Rebate Programs
Conversions from electric to natural gas furnace - up to $2,100*
Existing homes only. Must have Avista electric service and convert existing electric primary heat source from baseboard (straight resistance) or electric furnace to natural gas furnace. Must demonstrate at least 4,000 kilowatt-hours of electric and less than 340 therms of natural gas use in the last 12 months to be eligible. All equipment must be installed by a licensed contractor.
Energy Star Certified Smart thermostat - up to $150
New construction and existing homes. Must connect to the in-home Wi-Fi and must have Smartphone application available. Options available for self-install and contractor install.
Insulation - up to $0.75 per sq. ft.
Existing homes only. Must be installed by a licensed contractor. Must demonstrate at least 4,000 kilowatt-hours of electric or 120 therms of natural gas heat in the last 12 months, to be eligible.
Windows and Sliding Glass Doors - up to $600 per window
Existing homes only. Must be replacing existing windows and sliding glass doors. Must demonstrate at least 4,000 kilowatt-hours of electric or over 120 therms of natural gas heat, to be eligible. Options available for self-install and contractor install.
Energy Star Certified or insulated exterior doors - up to $100
Existing homes only. Available for self-install and contractor install.
Energy Star Certified appliances - up to $100
New construction and existing homes.
Energy Star Certified manufactured homes - up to $1,000
New manufactured homes only. Must be Energy Star qualified, as certified by Northwest Energy Efficient Manufactured Housing Program (NEEM).
HVAC and Water Heating Program
We're partnering with local distributors to make it easier to find high-efficiency HVAC and water heating equipment in our region. Incentives may be available.
Energy-Saving Home Upgrades Program
FREE energy-saving home upgrades are available to income-qualifying customers. Upgrades may include adding insulation, sealing air leaks, or new door and window installation.
