The Avista Community and Business Development team includes six Regional Business Managers, each serving a region of our five-state service area. Avista RBMs are actively involved in business and civic organizations across the Northwest that focus on improving quality of life, economic growth strategies, sustainability efforts, local projects, and more.
Regional Business Managers are the primary liaison between Avista and the municipalities we serve. They are a go-to resource for elected officials and government staffers. They can help with many issues ranging from economic development, to public policy, construction and infrastructure. RBMs can also help with sponsorships that support education, economic and cultural vitality.
Avista’s Community and Business Development team is launching a number of engagement initiatives in 2019, led by Director Latisha Hill, who was once an RBM herself. These initiatives include extensive community outreach in support of Avista’s Smart Meter deployment in Washington, rural community vitality assessments and ‘State of Energy’ stakeholder engagement in partnership with regional universities.
